CONCEPT

Slow moving and relaxing time that is different from the flow of normal time is provided at Difference.
We are certain that you will be able to spend happy time here.

Utsubo Park is located on the north side of our restaurant, where there are cherry blossoms in the spring, the pleasant sound of a fountain during the hot summer, yellow ginkgo leaves in the autumn, and the warmth of people enjoying sports in the winter.
It is a very lovely park, and this is one of the reasons that our restaurant is located here.

We are constantly conscious of our restaurant receiving light at any time, whether it be a hot or cold or rainy day, in order to welcome our customers in a warm, cool, and comfortable space.

We are confident that you will enjoy a restaurant like ours.
We hope to continue to be chosen as a restaurant to visit on special days.

  • We accept reservations for the present month until the end of the following month.
  • Please understand that there are times during hours of operation when we cannot answer the telephone.

Concerning confirmation of reservations;

  • In some cases, we may telephone customers in order to confirm reservations made two weeks prior to the date of use or earlier.
    Please be aware that, if we are unable to make contact at such time, the reservation will be cancelled.
    While we realize that it may be a bother for you, we sincerely hope for your understanding and cooperation.

Concerning cancellation of reservations;

  • Please understand that concerning cancellation of reservations for four or more people from 2 days before to the date of your reservation, you will be charged a cancellation fee that multiplies “An amount equal to the full price of the course multiplied by the number of people.”
  • When notification of a reduction in the number of people for your reservation is made on the day of the reservation, you will be charged a cancellation fee that multiplies “An amount equal to the full price of the course multiplied by the number of people canceled.”
  • If you cancel reservations on the date for which they were made, you will be charged a cancellation fee equal to the full price of the course multiplied by the number of people.

Yoshiaki Fujimoto
Born in Osaka Prefecture in 1983.
Worked at the Hotel Nikko Osaka “Les Celebrites” (Shinsaibashi, Osaka) for 11 years,
during which time, he received awards in numerous French cuisine concours.
At the young age of 29, he was appointed sous-chef (assistant cook), and has since continued to enjoy the support of customers who are fond of French cuisine.
On July 12, 2013, he opened the Restaurant Difference as owner-chef.
